Materials (Required the FIRST NIGHT):

Sew Fast Sew Easy sells the sewing notions in the Stitch and Bitch Cafe

  • 1 yard fashion fabric, any type
  • 1 yard lining fabric, any type
  • 1 yard twill fabric (like denim), NOT PRE-SHRUNK
  • 1 yard felt, either wool/rayon blend, or acrylic. A substitute for this is cotton flannel
  • 5 yards, 1/2” (or the closest to this) webbed boning. Rigilene is the brand name, so it may be known as either rigilene or webbed boning. It comes by the yard
  • 1/2 yard silk organza, for staying bias seams
  • 1 yard grosgrain ribbon, 1”-1 1/2” wide. Can be either woven edge or petersham (french belting)
  • 5-6 Buttons for the closure
  • 4-5 yards Piping (optional)

    Fabric should be purchased before you come to class. All other supplies are available for purchase at the store. Pattern will be provided on the day of class. Save all your questions for class.

Directions:
Sew Fast, Sew Easy is located at 147 West 35th Street, Suite 807, between 7th and Broadway. Take the N, R, Q, W, B, D, F, V, A, C, E, 1, 2, or 3 trains to the 34th Street stop. We are on the 8th Floor.

As a reminder we have included a copy of the contract you signed at the time of registration.
(1) If I cancel within 7 days of the start of my class, I FORFEIT my money.
(2) If I should miss a class, I am entitled to NO REFUND under any circumstance. There are no make-up classes. I may not forward my money to a new date.
