BRING TO CLASS FOR 1ST SESSION: (All tools, stretch woven fabric and 1 yard of woven fabric.)
All tools inluded in the Survival Sewing Kit are needed! Scroll down for list of tools.
FABRICS:
- Women - 2 yards of S-T-R-E-T-C-H WOVEN fabric 58" to 60" wide for your pull-on skirt.
- Men - 3 yards of fabric 58" to 60" wide for your pull-on pants.
PLEASE NOTE: stretch denim makes a great skirt or pair of pants.
AND
- 1 yard of fabric that is not stretch woven 45" up to 58" wide for a pillow. DO NOT bring leather, velvet, knit or fabrics with beaded trim on it.
- 14" pillow form - Available in our store
- Matching all-purpose thread - Available in our store

- 1&1/2 yards of cotton & lycra "St-r-e-t-c-h knit" fabric 60" wide. No Swimwear fabrics !

Project 5 - Pillow with an Invisible Zipper
- 1 yard of fabric that is not stretch woven 58"-60" wide. We suggest these fabrics: cotton, silk shantung or lightweight home decor fabrics. DO NOT bring leather, velvet, knit or fabrics with beaded trim on it.

After the 5th session, we strongly recommend that you buy a sewing machine for home use. Then, you will get comfortable threading and sewing on a machine as well as complete any unfinished work from class. Students, who own sewing machines, complete their projects faster and develop confidence with sewing quickly. If you are looking for a sewing machine, try all of the models we sell in your first session.
