Any wizards out there?! I was gifted today with a Singer Tiny Serger (TS380+). I sew pretty well (quilts and somstumes, among other things!) but thought it still might be VERY helpful to have a manual. This was a second-hand machine and thus, has no manual. At another sight, it was recommended I could download a manual (pdf file) direct from Singer. Went to Singer's site and, even with an updated Adobe, couldn't download manual. Any suggestions on getting a manual downloaded would be greatly appreciated! Thanks-Peggy Peggy <pquilting@netscape.net> vineland, nj USAHi! Found this site while cruising. Glue? sharon USA - Monday, January 14, 2002 at 17:01:29 (EST) Hey everyone! I just though I'd say for all those undergraduates...of high school. This is great! I f you are interested insewing and want to learn ho to sew. This is the place to do it. So what if there are adults who talk about their husbands and you do not even have a boyfriend. I don't want to sound like I know everything. Far from that. But to all those who doubt trying this or think it's not worth the money, Think of this. 1) This is the time to try new things 2) You will have this knowledge for the rest of your life (unlike what kind of sub-levels there are in an energy level) 3) Once you learn , you save money by not having to buy that product again. Instead of buying th special jeans with the cool appliques you can sew them on yourself. And hem your own stuff. That's useful! (If your short like I am) 4) You could be the envy of your school! (or at least people would admire you) Happy person <petiteange626@aol.com> New York, NY USA - Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at 23:24:08 (EST) Thanks for a great stitch and bitch night! They charge anywhere from $150.00 to $500.00 and more! It takes a very skilled person to make a copy of any garment. It is called a "rub-off". Why don't you get computer patterns made for your figure from Sew Fast Sew Easy. You will get a great fit and be able to even design your own clothes or take it to a tailor. I have used their patterns for my self and they work. Call them for their prices. I think it's aprox $100.00 per pattern. Of course we love to have guys in our sewing classes and many times there is a guy or two. It helps keep the "estrogen level" down in the gals. Help me. Tiffany <tndeprima@hotmail.com> Los Angeles, CA USA - Monday, April 02, 2001 at 19:19:16 (EDT) Elissa, The º circle skirt class was fabulous. I had a great time. I am amazed at the fact of making a skirt without a pattern in less than 1 hour. Also, the º circle skirt is in style this season with a price tag of $100 or more. I am making this skirt for less and the fit is perrrrrrfect. In any event, I was strapped for cash so I started making º circle skirts for family members and friends for a small fee. In addition to learning how to sew fashionable clothes, I have sharpened other skills as well (listening, focusing and discipline) which I have applied to my personal and professional life. Elissa you're the BEST. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
