The prettiest skirts are made to be taken off! This box-pleated bubble skirt looks great for a Holiday night out or a vacation in the sun.

In this 2 session class you will learn:

- How to sew a waistband,
- Make pleats, and
- Sew in a placket.

Garment industry professional techniques are taught. You get our exclusive Sew Fast Sew Easy Pattern.

This pattern is designed for XS, S, M, L, XL in regular sizes. This pattern will not fit plus sizes. However, all students are welcome to take this class.

You will learn:
- Intermediate fitting techniques
- Dart manipulation
- Insert an invisible zipper
- "Drop in a lining"
- How to attach a straight waistband
- How to attach a quick and easy contour waistband
- Slits and vents
- Professional finishing techniques (hand and machine)

Pattern making techniques include:

Upon finishing our Stitch and Bitch University class you will know more than the basics of beginner sewing. We strongly recommend this class.

This 10-week comprehensive course covers professional techniques used in the construction of designer’s first samples for clothing or home décor. Once you complete this, you will know the basics of any sewing machine, cutting, using patterns plus important sewing techniques to execute and your sewing ideas. After this class, you will be comfortable altering clothes, doing your own fittings, making some of your own designs, using commercial patterns, ready for design school.

You start out learning how to sew on any sewing machine and make an envelope pillow, then sew an elastic waist skirt, a tote bag, a stretch knit T-shirt on an overlock machine and another pillow with an invisible zipper.

Plus you get our well-known book and patterns “Sew Fast Sew Easy: All You Need to Know When You Start to Sew.” It’s all included in the price as well as the certificate of completion. (almost 26 hours of learning)

This class is for anyone who has completed Level 1 Beginner Sewing class and is dying for a knit dress. Learn to sew up a knit dress on a serger/overlock machine. See how easy it is to strut your stuff using our excluisive S.F.S.E pattern. You will learn how to sew in sleeves, finish a neckline and hem.
