The garment you select should match your sewing experience. If you select a fly front pant, you should know how to sew a fly front zipper.

This 10-week comprehensive course covers professional techniques used in the construction of designer’s first samples for clothing or home décor. Once you complete this, you will know the basics of any sewing machine, cutting, using patterns plus important sewing techniques to execute and your sewing ideas. After this class, you will be comfortable altering clothes, doing your own fittings, making some of your own designs, using commercial patterns, ready for design school.
You start out learning how to sew on any sewing machine and make an envelope pillow, then sew an elastic waist skirt, a tote bag, a stretch knit T-shirt on an overlock machine and another pillow with an invisible zipper.
Plus you get our well-known book and patterns “Sew Fast Sew Easy: All You Need to Know When You Start to Sew.” It’s all included in the price as well as the certificate of completion. (almost 26 hours of learning)

This class is for anyone who has completed Level 1 Beginner Sewing class and is dying for a knit dress. Learn to sew up a knit dress on a serger/overlock machine.
